What are heat exchangers?
OBM manufactures heat exchangers in the province of Bergamo, at its plant in Leffe. These devices are used in industrial and civil sectors where it is necessary to exchange thermal energy between fluids at different temperatures, in a process that can take place:
- directly, when the two fluids, although in contact, do not mix;
- indirectly, where the fluids are separated by a wall through which the heat exchange takes place.
In essence, exchangers exchange matter and heat, but not work.
